It'a a long time since I updated. I'm at work now and yes, I'm working. Huntington is nice. I'm not too sure but my attachment is for 3 weeks. I get my own desk and computer with my own extension. It just gets a bit boring though. Well, basically all I do is answer the phone, do media clippings, browse through magazines and try out the MSN messenger. It's hard but someone has to do it.
Oh, speaking of magazines, they have all e magazines here considering they are doing media tracking. They have a lot of clients like Swatch, Omega, Citibank, RSH, Mumbai Se and many more. Oh and another thing I love about it is that it's so near City Hall so for lunch, we get to go to a lot of different places to eat. One thing I hate though is the office attire. I have nothing remotely office-ish. All I have is a whole lotta off-shoulder tops and boho stuff.

Anyways, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jonathan! His bdae was on saturday. Since I'm pretty free now, I'll just go on about my weekend. Haha.
Saturday morning I met Amanda at Lavender to look for a tailor for her cosplay costume cos my mom can't make it in time. The textile centre was really quite deserted. We went floor after floor but there were few shops open or willing to tailor. In the end, this nice person referred us to a dressmaker shop in Bedok. She says it'll be less expensive there.
After that, we met Aisyah and Leandra at LJS. We then went to the Esplanade Librarry to find some inspiration for the drama production next year. We managed to find some lovely plays. I borrowed 3 books of plays to read. Just couldn't resist. Haha, I bumped into Atiqah and Martin too. Was pleasantly surprised.
Aisyah and I then rushed to get Jon's gifts and then to Tiong Bahru for his bbq. Haha, we thought it would take 1/2 an hour to reach there from City Hall but as it turns out, it took only 8 minutes.
The bbq was nice but kinda short. I love the chocolate fondue. I tried chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered crackers, chocolate covered cucumber and even chocolate covered vintage cheese which I dared Amorn to. It tastes weird but the chocolate makes it oh so much nicer. Never refuse chocolate. Haha. Jon's mom and I were going on and on about chocolate.
I think the guys had a bit too much food. Nick, Arvin, Raimi (and was it Ahmad?) sat on the table and broke it. Yes, flat-out-no-chance-of-repair-legs-broken broke it.
Jon, I hope you liked our presents. Nick was so lame. The cashier at 7-eleven actually let him buy condoms. Typical guy prank gift.
Amorn and Aisyah promised to teach me cycling. Finally, I can learn cycling. I can't believe I'm like one of the few people who don't know how to cycle while everyone whizzes by me on a bicycle. I'll finally get to ride a bike. Not looking forward to the crashing part though.
I finally returned from the chalet on Sunday. Got sick of the sand that was forever between my toes. Went shopping with Lela and got home in time for Star Awards.
I am so happy that Xie Shaoguang won the All-time favourite award. He so deserves it man! The flashbacks were really cute and funny but it was kinda morbid, like some kind of elegy to him. He looks the same though. So sad that he couldn't make it. Sigh, maybe I'll go to his animal farm in Johor. Haha.
Huang Biren won best actress. I loved her in My Lucky Charm. She's a great actress. I loved the fact too that Chen Hanwei won best actor. His acting's really good, especially in My Lucky Charm.
Can't believe A New Life won the best drama serial. Guess the Champion didn't measure up.
I guess my sister must be a Chinese good teacher. I could understand most of what they said without a translation or subtitles. Haha. Zoe was being so motherly, interrupting things, especially the whole Fann and Chris thing.

Oh dear, work to do. More articles to be clipped. Gotta go.
